"This hotel is in a good location with shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. It is a great value for money. The rooms are spacious and it was great to have iron, fan and hairdryer in the room. If there was aircon I would give it 5 stars in all areas. However it won't refrain me from returning. I will come back again. "

"The owner claimed Expedia double booked us so we turned up to stay in the evening and WE HAD NO ACCOMMODATION. We’ve paid for accommodation which we COULD NIT STAY IN - SCAM."

"The service was wonderful, everyone is really friendly. There were no disturbances and the freedom to come and go was nice. We will definitely come back to stay next time we’re on a weekend trip in London. The hosts gave us a printout of directions to the stadium which we were very grateful for, they saved us money and time. Security of the property was overall very good and we felt safe inside and outside the property. There are towels provided and a small en-suite with amenities attached to the room we booked. Everything was freshly cleaned and no weird smells, the bedding was fresh too. We had access to the TV which allowed us to connect our mobiles. Also free wifi. "

"This is a lovely historic hotel and we enjoyed our stay apart from one thing (but this was promptly rectified) : initially we had a front bedroom facing the road which was busy and noisy all through the night. Fortunately we were able to upgrade to a rear bedroom which was wonderfully spacious and with much better facilities. The staff were very pleasant, polite and efficient, the hotel was fascinating and well-kept, and we would certainly stay there again."
