"Staff excellent, basic amenities lacking in room and condition of fittings/shower etc rather tired. "

"The photos of this property are completely misleading, as in reality it is very very different! The room was small, nowhere to put anything, the en-suite was tatty with broken shelf over sink, dirty mirror and a shower that was pretty poor! The room was cold & uninviting! Other parts of the property were full of clutter & just looked uncared for and needs a complete overhaul. I can’t believe we paid good money to stay here!! "

"Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable!"

"Bed was comfy and supplied with towels and basic toiletries. Staff were really polite and helpful. As this place has a function room and when we stayed there was a 21st party (on Friday) and a christening party (on the Sunday) the music can be loud and you just have to learn to drown it out. The children from the christening party were running riot and were not under control by the parents.
