"In an interesting though somewhat seedy neighborhood, this older building is newly carved up into furnished apartments. Everything is brand-new. Comfortable platform beds. Fully functional microwave, dishwasher, oven (but without any pots/pans!). Excellent tub/shower. Ours was a third-floor walk-up apartment (no elevator), with a balcony overlooking the lively street below. There were black-out curtains on the west-facing windows, but nothing on the balcony door to the east, so forget about...

"Enjoyed the stay. Room was compact, but functional and bed comfy. Was concerned about sharing bath, but was never an issue in my five days. Location good. Outside city center, but all major sites are within one hour walk. Or, trolleys are nearby. Ethnic eateries close, but my favorite was Stout Pub around the block. I think a family lived above my room. They were sometimes noisy but quiet after 10. So, all worked well for me. "
