"Beautiful lodge in the mountain forest with beautiful landscaping around the individual cottages along a hill. Delicious food and very friendly staff. The perfect location for birdwatching, particularly the Resplendent Quetzal. Hence we saw one male, a female and a juvenile quetzal for about 30 minutes during the special quetzal tour in the morning, in addition to a male quetzal right at the lodge and another one that I could film along the nature trail of the lodge."

"The room was modern and clean. There are no reception staff, so you have to enter the property and your room using a code. Unfortunately I did not get the code prior to my arrival and had to try to call through the doorbell camera but there was no answer. I sent a WhatsApp message and got a response within 5-10 minutes. "The view was amazing and staff were very friendly. I did not realize that the rooms did not have A/C, so things were hot the first night (reception closed at 8:00), but they were able to get me another fan the second night l, which made things better. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay which included access to a local swimming hole which was very refreshing.
The restaurant was the most expensive meal we had in Costa Rica and to be honest, the food was not bad, but not good. Definitely...
