"Nice hotel with very friendly helpful staff we took our dog you can take your dog into the restaurant if you want to breakfast is excellent food also nice had a meal in the evening and there is a nice walk down to the sea not quite a beach, but a nice little walk"

Its highlight is the Train Staion heritage centre. I love it . The Brief encounter tea rooms . ( brilliant food) I would never tire of visiting it. The Royal Station Hotel where we stayed is right opposite. I would highly recommend a weekend

Carnforth itself is very much an average Lancashire town. It has a number of supermarkets which is handy. The M6 connection (junction 35) is very useful.
