"Setting was beautiful, rooms were very comfortable, views spectacular. Unfortunately the restaurant did not live up to our expectations for dinner. Breakfast was great. Olga at the front desk was incredibly helpful. Taxi from hotel to Llafranc, about a mile, costs between $20-35. There should be a shuttle for guests."

"The hotel spaces and especially our room were exquisitely decorated, calm and peaceful and in excellent condition. It was very hot while we were there, but the air-con worked very well. The shower was powerful and controllable. The guest pool was great (we did not use either spa, this visit) and empty at 7:30 am. Breakfast was very good and we only paid £7 each per day. "Daniel was a wonderful host and chef. The personal attention was a treat, as were the meals. The core of the place is Medieval (maybe 12th-14th century) yet the rooms are modern and comfortable. We loved our stay!"
