"First, let me say that it is a beautiful hotel. Rooms are nice and large as well as the bathroom. Robes are horrible and scratchy, but who really needs a robe. The bar is amazing, drinks amazing, staff amazing. The valet is amazing. The front desk not so much. We waited in line for almost 25 minutes without a sorry. It was pretty awful...

"I have stayed here before and had a better experience than this weekend, unfortunately. The hotel is great but our room had a terrible odor, it was next to the elevators, and our view was the parking lot. It was also very noisy at night during sleeping hours. Maybe next time I will specifically book a river view room and make sure it’s not next to the elevators."

"There was only one person at the front desk checking people in when we arrived and it took a long time for the line to move. Then we got to our room which smelled heavily of dog and room freshener. Very heavy, unpleasant odor. Would not recommend staying here. We had a dog so that’s why we booked it but the carpet in the dog-friendly hotel rooms smell. The hotel room felt very tired: one of the nightstand lamps wasn’t working, the toilet flush was faulty, smelly carpet, etc."

"This is a delightful old home which has been a Bed and Breakfast since 1987. I loved the wraparound porch. Room was spacious enough. Breakfast was nice: yogurt w granola and fresh fruit; croissant; 7-minute boiled eggs...same each day. I wanted to use the croquet set but we never quite got to it. "Stayed to go to concert at Gesa Pavilion. Was a nice little walk, close to lots of things. We enjoyed. Our room was a little loud because we were next to the stairs but wasn’t too bad."

"Unfortunately wasn't really met with much of a greeting. Was made to feel like a bit of a bother. Next day when I called to ask if I could discuss possibly staying a second night, front desk abruptly said they didn't have time for me and to call back in 20 minutes. While I can appreciate that mornings can be busy at a hotel with people possibly checking out, this was not the tone/way to respond to a client. Definitely not feeling any hospitality vibes"

"Major problems with check-in. I was told I was double booked which I was not. The on-site staff were not helpful and it took me hours to resolve this error over the phone with Expedia. I still haven't been given an explanation "

"At first glance, things were great, big room, nice balcony. Then we noted our TV had Direct TV with no streaming services. Our room happened to be in a WiFi dead zone so I had to use my phone as a hotspot. The Direct TV kept glitching so it’s a good thing we brought games. There was a dirty bandaid in the elevator for two days until I reported it to the front desk. My sheet had a tear in it, when I reported it to the front desk, nothing happened even though I’d been assured it would be passed on...

"We stayed several nights at this hotel for a National Wrestling tournament. The location to the arena and the price was good. Having breakfast on site was a plus. The online pictures of the hotel look better than in person. The area was less desirable, being on a busy street and close to the freeway, it was super noisy all day and night. Also, the area was packed with homeless camps. It was helpful to be close to many fast food and sit down restaurants though."
