"The hotel was located near the Broadway shows we were seeing and convenient to many activities. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. The heat/air unit in the room was extremely load. And at times, it was difficult to catch an elevator. We had to run down 15 flights a few times as the elevator never came."

"We had an excellent time at Hyatt grand central. The hotel is in a convenient place to commute anywhere in the city . Most of the attractions are walkable distance. No complaints. Just a suggestion about the food market . The staffs could have been bit more nice and communicative ."

"From the outside, this hotel presents itself as a 4-star property, but the reality of the rooms is extremely disappointing. The rooms appear superficially renovated, but the quality is very low. Noise insulation is practically nonexistent — you can hear everything from neighboring rooms, other floors, and the hallway, even when staying far from the elevators. The “continental breakfast” advertised on the website is also misleading. In reality, it consists of either one egg sandwich OR one pastry. Fruit, yogurt, and most additional items cost extra, and even coffee consumption feels monitored. While there is basic American coffee available, every small extra is charged separately, which is absolutely not the impression given online. What made the experience worse was the staff’s dismissive attitude when concerns were raised. When I simply asked for a tray to carry my coffee to the table, the response I received was: “Darling, welcome, this is New York.” For the price charged, the experience does not match the description, the expectations, or the level of service this hotel claims to offer."

"This classic New York Hotel hit all the right buttons, fabulous location, gorgeous architectural details in the lobby, piping in Ol' Blue Eyes, the best, most helpful, courteous staff. We received complimentary snacks, waters, breakfast mid-stay room freshen, huge bank of elevators and modern rooms. And to top it off, only steps from Time Square!"

"Check in staff was not interested, pointed to the lift but gave no instructions to get to room. Under beds had not been cleaned for some time! No instructions for coffee maker. Lady at checkout was much more friendly and helpful, and if you don't mind the lack of vacuuming and going elsewhere for coffee, it's a great location and cheap."
