"We had a lovely stay at the hotel, our room was nice and clean on arrival. Breakfast was good and the pool and spa area were just what we needed to have an hour to relax in. Kaleb at the bar was really friendly and professional. We would stay again if in the area. "

"Lovely pub and inn at the heart of the village. The room was lovely, very comfortable! At the end of each day I would arrive back at my room to find a homemade cookie waiting for me; it's these little touches that really demonstrate attention to detail and the thoughtfulness of the staff. It's a Dog friendly hotel, and there was a very cute friendly dog who greeted me as I went to check in. Would highly recommend, and will certainly stay again! Useful hotel for those walking or cycling through the Chiltern Hills, located relatively close to the Ridgeway Route. "

"This historic building has been beautifully restored, congratulations! The Old Abbey House is in a perfect location in the centre of Abingdon. Our room was a deluxe king suite (garden view) and was faultless. Thoughtfully designed, spacious with a separate seating and kitchen area making for a very comfortable stay. Check-in was very straightforward."
