If you're not prepared, travelling can be tough. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these tips and tricks and enjoy a pain-free start to your getaway in Joetsu. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's easy --- first, pack in your passport, official ID, credit cards and medications. Next, you'll want some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A juicy novel and a phone filled with your favourite movies are some fantastic options. If you plan to take a short snooze, a comfy neck pillow and some earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, leave some space for a few toiletry items to ensure you step off the plane looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and matches, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort really should be your priority when selecting what to wear on your flight. Consider your footwear choice with care too, as swollen feet are a common side effect of flying. Flat, slightly roomy shoes are your best bet.
- Most travellers are aware of DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clot condition caused by long periods of sitting. There's plenty you can do to reduce your risk. Wear a pair of compression socks or tights, drink lots of water and remember to keep your legs and feet moving. Do a few laps of the cabin or try out some simple stretches in your seat.
