"This is a good, clean, modern Cotswold hotel. It’s not until entering the car park that you realise how big it is. The cottage- style rooms are a nice touch and the facilities are clean and modern. Dinner was ok. Staff weren’t especially helpful on Sunday morning when, after missing breakfast and buying coffee in the bar, they couldn’t find even a morsel to eat. Otherwise all very competent"

"The online photos failed to live up to the actual accomadations. An Example, the room was smaller then appears in the photo. The patio felt short of the photos and need to be cleaned. The most concerning was the mold in the shower. TV was small and ackwardly placed on the wall for viewing. Positive parking was great and everything was in Walking distance. Comfortable bed and nice linens. Also the staff was friendly."

"The hotel is in the most beautiful, perfect spot in Bourton. However considering the cost to stay, the standard was very poor overall. The hotel was very grubby, lumps of dust and grime on carpets throughout. We were told to help ourselves to what turned out to be dirty cutlery at evening meal & breakfast. When we arrived there was one member of staff manning the reception and serving meals, who was clearly new and had not had any induction so was clueless when asked about where to park (car...

"The Old Stocks was our favorite stay in the UK despite having stayed at many 5 star hotels. The outside patio is beautiful and relaxing. We loved our breakfast server who showed us a nest with baby doves. The avocado toast was incredible! The location is perfect for hitting all the shops in Stow and for visiting other towns. They have designed the hotel in a way where it has character and a funky modern style. Can’t recommend enough!"

"The room was cozy and well appointed. Plenty of space for two people, including a separate chair to sit down and relax. Large bathroom. The bed was quite comfortable."

"Welcome was lovely, room was really pretty with nice touches, pretty noisy though, you'll be lucky to get a solid nights sleep. Breakfast wasnt great either sadly. Overall though it was a lovely, pretty, welcoming hotel for a single night stay."
