"Just 1 of the waiters had a preference to serve better the euro american custumers. When i asked for the same drink in a bottle he replied by saying no glass containers near the pool which is safer but them were getting glass bottles so he had no choice but to give the same sarvice but he wasn't happy.. so treating others better is wrong you as Guatemalan must respect people of all walks of life .paying customers deserve that."

"I liked the location closed to the lake and many restaurants. The installations of the hotel were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Panajachel."

"Beautiful property, ideal for R & R. Restaurant staff and chef were excellent and very accommodating to our dietary needs (mainly vegetarian). Rooms are very spacious with a nice balcony. Only downside was that there was no air-condition in our room."

"The rooms are charming- like stepping back in time. The shower in our room was a bit odd- LOTS of shower curtain in the tub, but manageable. We didn’t need a fire built in our room, but it was offered. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is good, but I would not recommend the dinner at the hotel restaurant. "

"The gardens and views as well as restaurants and cafes are excellent! The service is very good. The rooms are basic and need some updating. The doors are hard to close with a key. The comforters are outdated and need to be replaced. The towels barely dry, so thin and old. If you are expecting luxury this is not the place. If you are looking for location. Views, food, clean accommodations and service this is your place!"
