Our room was over an hour and a half late and we were not compensated whatsoever even though we were waiting for them. It's time for isn't overly attentive and the wait time for the food is definitely not worth it. "

Our room was very large and comfortable with a nice sitting area outside the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The entire property is very clean and we felt extremely safe."

"The hotel facilities did not look as pictured. The rooms are extremely dated, they don’t have AC or any temperature control. The property is marketed as a hotel but it looks more like a guest house. Also, the room service started before 8:00am when some of the guests are still sleeping. Food is average. "

First of all if you dont appreciate History or architecture go somewhere else this one is not for you. Others that do step in to Mayan inn to take a beautiful walk in the past. The room was elegant, the pieces of furniture exquisite 👌. The plumbing was a little bit lacking but the water was hot. I really appreciate how hard they have worked to keep the original character of the hotel. Our room had an open fire ready to go. Having a fire in the elegant room last night felt like i was magicaly transported to the 1930s. I hope others can experience this magic as well. "
