"These comments are not for publication but rather for Expedia to consider how they rate the Inn. When we arrived at 8.30pm the Car Park was full, so it was a surprise that no-one was in pub. We never saw another guest during our stay. It felt that the business was struggling. A bit too quiet. Staff were ok. Room facilities were ok including a very comfortable large bed. A little disappointed that we had to ask for the heating to be put on in the room after we arrived. The heating had not gone...

"On arrival Expedia booking which I paid in advance was declined but I wasn't informed so tried to pay with amex , but they wouldn't accept it. So had to pay on alternative card. Room was hot and stuffy, there were no bath towels or shower gel. The small kettle had a very small cable which was not detachable and was a stretch to get to a socket which I subsequently burnt my hand on trying to pour a drink. No hot food in the hotel incl evening meals and sparse continental breakfast was poor"

"Really nice and regrettably brief stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast ran by a lovely couple. I was made to feel at home from the start and the hosts went out of their way to help make my stay as comfortable as possible (including an offer of a lift to a local pub!). Breakfast was really high quality and ample. I will definitely look to stay again! Thank you!"

"A very enjoyable 2 night stay. Pleasant locaton, very helpful and polite staff and very enjoyable food. Only comment is that the roomwas really too small to have a king sized bed. Recomended."
