4/10 Poor

"The parking lot has several large potholes. The outside of the building appears poorly maintained. The back door (east side) was never locked and usually standing open. Trash was pulled up and scattered around this back door for the three nights that I stayed there. The "Free Delux Hot Breakfast" that is advertised on their business was non-existant. There was a printed note apologizing for the lack of food. The swimming pool had a puddle of water in the bottom and lots of trash in it. I will not stay here again."

"Older Hotel but not a chain. Room was large, comfortable bed, good shower pressure. Disappointed the pool was closed. Water looked great but something was being done where electrical wires were out on the deck. Breakfast was very good and they keep food coming and very welcoming. Check in and Check out were very good and staff very kind. Good price"

"The room was damaged when we entered. The water was yellow that came out of the bathtub, there was white powder stuff all over the floor (big poisoning). The front desk was very kind and helpful. She was also apologetic. The cleaning staff was also kind. Everything about the room was just horrible. Also, there were mattresses all over the parking lot. For $250 a night, I am very disappointed! Don’t stay at this hotel!"

"The only thing that was good was the hot water. The entire facility is outdated and has not been fully cleaned in I would say years. I specifically stayed there because they had a pool. I would never allow my grandchildren to go in that pool. The lining was chipped and flaking away. There were no lounge chairs, or any other amenities at the pool. The carpet had not been cleaned in so long that I would not even put my feet on the floor without having shoes or flip-flops on. The bedding was torn, the curtains were hanging off the rod, I could not look out the window because we were at the peak and all I saw was the back of the comfort ini sign. I am a recent recipient of a total knee replacement, so it was also important for me to be able to have an exercise room to utilize so I could continue with my therapy. The one machine that I needed was broken and literally falling apart. Not to mention that the exercise room or the exercise equipment had not been cleaned in numerous weeks. Had it not been for the other hotels in the area that we needed to be in with a pool already being booked I would’ve vacated that hotel unfortunately that was not possible. I’m glad that you reached out to me because it was my intention to reach out to you to request a refund. I would appreciate it If you would get with me as soon as possible to let me know what you plan to do to rectify the situation. Thank you in advance for your prompt response. I look forward to hearing from you very shortly."

"Not impressed with the room or amenities for the price. I felt penalized for not being Hilton Member. Was told the reason we were charged $4 for bottled water was because we were not members it would have been free otherwise. Felt forced to use Valet parking. Was given the option to use the back parking lot and when we did, there’s no entrance from the backside of the building. Had to walk all the way around Glad we didn’t use anything else!! Not the way to get someone to become a member!!!Paid the same price in San Antonio at the Mokara and was worth every penny. We didn’t have to do anything they got our ice brought us complimentary fruit treated us EXCELLENT and that was the first time we ever stayed there. Valet was included in the room. Needless to say we WILL NOT stay at Double Tree or a Hilton again if this is their idea of 5 star."

"The room was okay but the carpet was old and torn. The tub was nasty and moldy around the drain. I wouldn’t take a bath. The bed was nice and clean with fresh sheets and the refrigerator was clean. Overall, the room was not worth the price. This was a two star room with Three star price. Beware!"
