"Pagoda Hotel got more than just a refresh. They spent some time putting together little logos and flair that made it more of a signature piece than just a hotel. Staff ensured we were able to access everything we needed. Note that it is still directly in the city and very close to Ala Moana Mall which means you get some traffic noise if on a lower floor. It was gratifying to see they still had lively carp and open air environment. The reduced price breakfast was not just value but also quality. "

"The room smells pretty bad . AC not working properly. Late email send out for our lock box and we were not able to sleep on the first night and went to Embassy suite. The phone numbers mentioned in the piece of paper posted on the wall was of no use. If you are going to send the email for the instructions not the day itself. You emailed me on April 17,2026 and we arrived at 10 pm . I dont have the time to even look at my email. We will not be coming back to this place."

"I felt very neglected. Stay was 8 nights with no services. Not even towel changes or amenities like conditioner, toilet paper &, lotions. No garbage bags. Rusty ice bucket. Wish I knew it was an air B&B before i arrived. Would have not booked it! Basically ruined our volleyball tournament/ family vacation 😢 "

"My partner and I were in town for a convention and stayed at The Equus for a 8 nights. The building is a bit older/outdated, but everything was functional and clean. We had a lot of luggage - the staff was kind and accomodating helping us arrange deliveries, as well as help carry our boxes up the stairs to the elevator. They were accomodating at every turn, truly helping us enjoy our stay in Honolulu. The bed in our room was soo comfortable and we slept soundly every night. The housekeeping...

"I gave low stars on website accuracy because after renting a room here I then find out that Panoramic Resort is actually in a hotel and Panoramic only owns some rooms in the hotel. They don’t tell you this on the website. Only after renting a room are you told that you could possibly rent one of Panoramic cars(if able) so you wouldn’t have to pay a ridiculous amount to park that the hotel collects. If you rent a car from Panoramic there is no parking fee. Would have liked to have known that...

"Okay hotel, could do with some improvements for the price. The mattresses in the rooms felt quite worn out and the room on the 8th floor was rather noisy from street rraffic and noise. Room was clean. Pool and laundry (extra fee) were well maintained. Be aware of $150 deposit and $30/night car parking fee."
