Can't believe this issue hasn't been mentioned previously. Only need to put up a pressure rod with shower curtain to stop this happening. Had Bubble & Squeak with bacon & egg for dinner. "the Barge is a pub with accomodation in a very good location, about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Although the staff are welcoming and the room was clean, the overall appearance of the pub is that it is shabby and run down. The carpet on the staircase leading to the bedrooms was grubby and had a large hole in it. outside the garden furniture has seen better days and there is a canopy which has come adrift from its fixings and been lashed to the outside bar. "Perfectly located right in the middle of town. Nice room and facilities. There was a lovely garden/ patio bar in addition to the inside bar are and restaurant. All of the food we had was top notch quality and value. The staff were lovely. Definitely would recommend and stay here again."
