"Lovely old Inn with nice rooms. Good evening menu. Really enjoyed every meal. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location for exploring the Cotswolds. Only downside antiquated feeble shower."

"In most respects all amenities and staff exceeded expectations however I was there during a heatwave and the small fan did nothing to alleviate the heat the room, so I think a 9/10 is a fair assessment. I will definitely stay there again when in Swindon "

"On arrival there was road works outside the hotel which we were unaware of. I had messaged to ask where to park but got no answer. The parking is payable across the road and behind some houses. The hotel building is very old and the bar area is quite nice. The two young lads on the bar were very nice and friendly. The room we had was in need of decoration and updating, not in good shape. We had drinking facilities provided but I’d advise take your own as the ones given were to certain tastes....

"Lovely large room, comfy bed sand very dog friendly. Lots of parking and advantage of park and ride into Bath 10min walk away. Excellent Sunday roast and fantastic breakfast will definitely be back!"

"The room was very dainted could do with a reverb in the bedrooms stayed on the hottest weekend in June and all we had was a old small fan in the room Bathroom could do with a very deep clean. Pub itself was nice. Stuff behind the bar were very friendly. Landlord was grumpy and chose to see it with both their big air-condition fans facing himself."

"A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again."

"We loved our stay here. The gardens and Inn are really lovely and we enjoyed having several meals in the restaurant. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. This was a great location to head out for day trips and a restful spot to return to at the end of a busy day. Fantastic!"
