"An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you"

"We stayed here for the weekend of26th June , what a gem of a place to find . Room was lovely , staff were very chatty and nothing was too much trouble , food excellent . Although not in the normal hot spot stays , this pub is in a quiet location but not far from anywhere . Highly recommend a stay here at this pub"

"Room was very clean and lovely ambience. There wasn’t an iron, tissues or a fridge, which we struggled with and there was no bottled water in the room. Toilet could have done with a deep clean, flushing was poor and sounded broken and the tap kept dripping water out of it. No lock on the bathroom door, and the shutting mechanism didn’t work, faulty.
