"This was my first time in London and I truly felt like royalty at the St James. Check in was smooth! Breakfast was top tier. The staff was exceptionally courteous & kind. Great location to most of the city’s major attractions. We walked everywhere, food was everywhere! The hotel had great amenities. There was a spa and tea in a garden and more. I was very happy with everything. I highly recommend. I will definitely return in the future. "

"I stayed at Templeton Garden 04/03/26 - 07/03/26. From the off, the service was 5 stars- I had a theatre show at 2pm but check in isn’t until 3pm. They told me prior to arrival that I could leave my luggage & they would safely lock it up. However on arrival, at 11.50am they told me my room was ready so I could check in & settle in straight away, which was brilliant. "Lovely hotel, immaculate decor, lovely to have a kitchenette area as a bonus, fridge, kettle and hob if you had a longer stay Very modern with sliding mirrored doors along whole of one wall which hid the shower and separate toilet. Atmospheric lighting and tv Only very small downside, no vanity mirror to do make-up with, all mirrors were smoked effect which made it very difficult to see properly in applying make-up. "This was not the hotel for me. Kind staff. Friendly for the most part. But this hotel is basic, basic, basic. The lobby is not warm and welcoming. It’s got a hostel feel to it. My room was on the ground floor through a little door by the bar. Navigating with luggage was hard. When checking out I had to run a gauntlet of vacuums, wires, mops, chairs and a couple of folks trying to just eat. The room is tiny. I get the concept but this hotel didn’t do it for me.
