Very walkable with bus and train options. Train station master was extremely friendly and assited with how to get around to local sites like Corfe Castle. Nice local treasures as well with Christchurch Abbey, marshlands, and beaches.

Love Christchurch. Beautiful town with lots of choice of restaurants including a few in the river. Took a ferry to Mudeford which was lovely.
