Skipping forward to night two...mostly because it was just another day of driving for hours.

This was another time I was able to just put my camera out and go to bed while it fired all night. This is about 1400 photos stacked together. I am looking south.

So my google maps has a few thousand starred places; this was one of them. I have absolutely no idea why this place was listed. It was a cool place, but hours out of the way. It did feel good to get a real night sleep.
This wind-swept tree has given in to the forces of nature as it stands on the wispy banks of Clayton Lake State Park. This recreation area is quiet and restful, especially in the early spring before crowds come in to fish it.
