"Hi, the room was clean, but very cold. Staff came to fix the heating twice, when asked. It worked after the second attempt. The check in was slow. Staff very helpful. We had a grab & go breakfast as we had an early morning flight. No take out coffee though, unless we missed it. Not good enough value for the high cost. It gets away with it as it’s the only hotel on site."

"Great bargain hotel. Room overlooked Marina. Convenient with Lidl, Waitrose & Home Bargains all around and plenty of places to eat & drink & ATM. Room was basically but had kettle & mugs & tea/coffee. Hairdryer available in reception. Small lift. Bed fairly comfy. Parking at Lidl with registration in hotel reception."

"Excellent stay. Great staff - friendly and helpful. It's an old building but they have really made an effort on the areas that matter including the rooms. Good, reasonably priced food in the bistro and restaurant plus an excellent breakfast. Will return."

"The room was clean and spacious enough for us to rest. However the facilities provided were a little basic. No water bottle or glasses provided. No mini fridge. No AC. No escalator. Bathroom shower was leaking water onto the floor. No emergency button in the bathroom. The breakfast was ok but not enough vegan options were provided. "

"This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating elsewhere. Would I stay here again? YES. It's an amazing hotel, I just wouldn't eat there."
