"Was difficult to find close affordable parking. Tried calling the hotel to ask where I could find parking and the entire system is automated with no option to reach the front desk. Went inside to ask and the only staff member there was new and didn’t know the area at all. The closest lot is $40 a day and about a seven minute walk. The room was just ok for the price. The TV didn’t work, it kept turning off and on. The walls are pretty thin, we could hear the man next to us snoring at night and other people flushing their toilets. "

"Well I hesitate to review this hotel because I like it so much lol. I have stayed there many nights over many trips in the last 15 years and I think it is perfect. I returned in March after three years gone and a lot of same friendly, welcoming staff is still there. Rooms can be small (club rooms) and not all have a refrigerator (so call them to double check before you book a type of room) but: (1) The staff is wonderful. Just good people. They go out of their way to be helpful. Obviously respect to them also helps. (2) Location--5 minute walk to the Ferry Bldg and Embarcadero and to the F trolley to the Wharf or Castro and stops all along Market St; 3 minute walk to California street cable car; 8 minute walk to Montgomery Muni and BART station and to many buses including 38R Geary express; 10 min walk to Chinatown and North Beach! The list goes on. (4) Great lounge with workspaces and complimentary espresso drinks. (5) Quiet area at night. No horns from traffic. I always feel like I am "coming home" to SF when I visit and that is because of the staff. Can't wait to go again."

"The front desk customer service was outstanding, was able to check in early before the ballgame. The rooftop Regency club breakfast was delicious, with so many fresh options, and the view was breathtaking! "

"I booked a room before there it was nice. This time they gave me a room in a building call Historic. Basically it was old and falling apart. The door knob came off. The shower head was hanging and the elevator was small and broken. The worst was when I was checking out to get to the garage to get the car, it takes awhile to get there. The valet said I needed to go back to the front desk to get my ticket stamped. I have a disability and to go back amd forth was excruciating. While I finally got to the front to check out, others hotel guests were complaining about the same things and the staff seem to be used to this type of things. I will never stay there again. "

"Room was nice and always clean! Staff at front desk was kind and fast. I really wish you would offer room service! This was not hotels fault but our stay unfortunately got impacted with the neighbors having an intense domestic dispute. Security handled it but frustrating when you want relax and have to hear this going on for some time. But as always love it here and location is perfect."
