"The Best Wetern Gregory Hotel is the only lodging option in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and it serves well for those who need to be in the area. It is safe, clean and comfortable, at reasonable prices, and the included breakfast includes many choices. If one needs to get to downtown Brooklyn or Manhattan, the R subway line is just two blocks away. On the downside, the place is somewhat spartan and they are in the midst of renovation."

"It was a cozy little hotel. There was parking in the back. Easy to locate. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We stayed 2 days to see 👀 my old stomping ground in nearby area. We also had easy access to subway that shoots you straight into Manhattan with ease. It was wonderful and just what we needed. "

"We needed a place to stay after our flight was cancelled. What a nice surprise. It was easy to get to from the subway (36th street yellow train). It was near a diner and several places to get supplies. We did our laundry at the big place within sight of the hotel. I would stay here again when we visit Brooklyn again. Thanks to the front desk staff for being helpful!"

"this was the ideal location to avoid Uber fees. It is in close proximity to buses and the subway station. I will definitely recommend that you choose here for a quick get away in Brooklyn. P.S. I traveled with teenage children and I was comfortable with them going outside by themselves to get food. This was a Jewish neighbor hood. "

"I was a little tentative after reading some of the reviews but this place served us really well for a weekend trip to NYC. We saw a show at the King’s Theatre and this hotel is directly across the street and was a ten minute walk to the subway which went from Brooklyn to Manhattan. It was so much more affordable than staying in Manhattan and was a nice, comfy bed and a bathroom after long days out exploring the city. If you don’t need much more than that, I recommend it."
