"Room was clean and spacious. Bed was so comfy. Shower head and water temp/pressure was WONDERFUL!!! Staff was great and greeted us from the moment we approached. Room Service was quick. Bar was flowing with drinks and Casino was very lively and inviting, a little smokey but we were not in there all day. Loved the live music that was performing in the casino loung area. Pool is decent- lots of love bugs in water, lazy river was great! Fyi- there are 2 jacuzzis- we wondered why so many kiddos...

"Our stay at Tru by Hilton Lake Charles was such a pleasant experience. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast buffet was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Great parking space and convenient. It made our anniversary getaway even more comfortable and enjoyable while we soaked in that beautiful bayou view. I definitely recommend this location and don’t always go by negative reviews, pray about it and see for yourself."

"Friendly staff, great pool. Kitchen lacked enough silverware and dirty dishes when we arrived, floors were sticky and we had to let the hot water run for 20 minutes before it was warm. Parking was a challenge. Over all, nice stay and will consider staying again next time we visit the area."
