"If you love Bourbon Street, this location cannot be beat. The hotel is very clean and elegant, a very drastic dichotomy from the atmosphere outside the door, which in itself has it's own amazing ambiance. The pool area is great. The bartenders at the pool were fantastic. I did not partake in the jazz club/restaurant on the first floor, but from the outside it looked amazing. I will be back, 100% "

"Breakfast was ok. The coffee was warm, at best. The staff was very nice. Had stomach issues after almost each day. We had a one time $29.00 credit from Expedia. This wasn’t explained well. We had to give the voucher upon a meal or drink at the bar, which we didn’t realize until we got home. We assumed it would come off at checkout. A credit would be appreciate! The pillows were very uncomfortable. Location was excellent, room was very nice. "

"Room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Check in was easy as was the onsite parking across the street at the sonesta. Great location a half a block from Bourbon Street and Canal Street with many excellent restaurants nearby to choose from. Property was very European feeling with the architecture and outside courtyard. The deduction in stars was for an odd smell in our room..kind of an oily musty small but the nose adjusted and it wasn't a problem for me. The other is the the connected bar was closed at 930 pm when we got back from dinner. I needed to have my drink certificate taken off my bill from earlier. Hopefully accounting will do that without me having to call. Overall a very positive experience and I would recommend."

"Staff upon arrival was extremely rude. Requested credit card never told me what it was for or even gave me pricing or receipt upon leaving the hotel. never told me what room floor was on or anything. I just had to look at the number written on the card and figure it out. was never given any information on any amenities or restaurant or bars that the hotel had either."
