The uneven floors were beautful and the effort made to keep it looking old is to be applauded. The doors were awesome. We find somewhere like this every year around this time for our birthdays and anniversary. Always somewhere with history and central to exploring. First time in 100s we'll be coming back.The whole bodmin area is astounding and the Jamaica is the perfect base...

"The hotel was immaculate and the staff were amazing. Would highly recommend this as a must to visit or stay when visiting Cornwall. The views were spectacular and the beach was clean and tidy. The restaurant was a real treat with amazing cuisine from the breakfast through to the fine dining experience in the evening. The accommodation was superb and definitely value for money. "

The drinks were cold, and flowed easily and the food second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay. No wonder the local patrons enjoy spending their down time with you!"

"i was allocated a room in an building seperate to the main hotel - located at the end of the lane. There is no lighting on the lane, after my evening meal in the hotel i had to navigate back to my room down a dark lane, full of potholes / puddles using only the torch on my mobile phone. "

"Lovely place at the end of the village, quite, lovely little garden enclosed, driveway for your car, sky tv handy when weather bad and plenty of room, lovely kitchen and large conservatory to eat in. "

"Beautifully finished apartment and to a high standard. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating on what was a very busy evening for them. Food was lovely and presented well, amazing coffee too. Location was great just what we needed for our trip."

"Room could have been cleaner. Hair in tub still, fingernail clipping behind door. Restaurant was very busy and we needed reservations to eat. Was not pointed out upon arrival. Restaurant ran out of some menu items by the time we could eat. Food was meh. This hotel is farther away from city center and to get to more eating places is about 20 minute walk. Good for getting in and out of each day, not good for food when we got back. Breakfast was ok, but they were slow to replace items that...
