"The location was excellent. Quiet area on the canal. Charming building. Room was very clean but super tiny. The room was barely large enough to fit the bed. It was rather claustrophobic. Barely enough room to walk around the sides of the bed. Bathroom was tiny as well. But canal views were lovely."

"This is overall a fantastic hotel and is probably in the best location in town. The staff are overall great, but there were a few hiccups. First, we had asked that the room be cleaned and also because we needed supplies replenished (for example, toilet paper), and they did not. Another miss was that we had ordered room service breakfast the morning of an activity we had planned externally. We waited and then called the room service line, and they told us that they never received the order after...

"Great location in a residential neighborhood so it is nice and quiet - away from the hubbub of the city core. Transit by bus into Amsterdam Centraal is just a short walk away. Hotel has a cool vibe and the staff were super accommodating."

"The hotel is lovely, it is in a great location and very nice folks working there. Many cafes and restaurants close by and easy walking distance or trolley to various museums. Be aware the breakfast is expensive and NOT good. It costs 24€ /person. In addition, you must make a reservation the night before for a specific time slot and you are told when you come down for breakfast that you only have 45 minutes. Check your invoice upon leaving carefully, we were double charged for breakfast. They did...

"Nice hotel in a centralized location. Breakfast, Food, restaurants, drinks and coffee were expensive in the hotel. No real perks but all the staff was excellent, the rooms were cozy and quiet and we enjoyed our stay. The quiet garden was lovely."
