"Gorgeous boutique hotel with fantastic updates that also keep the charm and history of a French Quarter building. Beautifully decorated. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. It is very close to Bourbon Street, so there is quite a bit of noise, especially at night. I sleep with earplugs anyway, but I know the hotel does offer them if needed. Courtyard is fantastic and has plenty of seating. Would definitely stay at The Celestine again when in the French Quarter."

"Staff was friendly. Restaurant was on site a the bar staff was excellent. Rooms were large but lighting was poor and the beds were not great. We would stay again based on the location to a Frenchman’s street. "

"The hotel is a gem in the middle of the French Quarter. It has a combination of classic elegance and modern conveniences that hit you as soon as you walk in. The rooms are very modern with all types of lifting controls including motion sensors under the bed that turn on soft lights if you get up in the middle of the night. The staff was friendly and ultra professional. It was a high class vibe in walking distance to most sights."

"I was so charmed and frankly overjoyed with this calmly beautiful and artsy antique styled boutique hotel. The staff was so helpful and laidback when i was frazzled and forgetful from travel stress. Located a half block away from my favorite music venue: Frenchman Street, I could pop over and stumble back for a nap with ease. Right next door was the Louisiana Music factory, a record store where local bands happened to be performing all day when i was there. There was also a health food stocked...

"The staff was definitely the best part of our stay, the rooms were fine, we had no issues but we were hoping for a little more special decor or something to match the extraordinary prices (though we know Jazz Fest means $$$). For the money we could have stayed at many other high end places-the staff was excellent. Not sure I’d make a special point to return but no major complaints."

"It was close to Bourbon Street, so good for the entertainment. A little loud for sleeping. My room was very nice, but the rugs need a good vacuum. The showers great, lots of hot ware and good spray. Parking in town is very expensive, forget the car. You can walk, take a bus or street car most places."

"Stairs were impossible to carry luggage, Bathroom was old, tiles were cracked, shower was falling apart, no counter room. The sofa in my room was old and looked dirty, I did not sit. I checked out 1 day early...they not only refused to refund my nights stay but charged me $83 for early check out. Don't stay. There are many better places."
