"Great, affordable stay in a perfect location. We booked a private double which was affordable, spacious and clean. The check in process was easy and the young local fellow at the desk was fantastic and sorted us out with recommendations. The location is incredible for the price. Seconds walk to the pier and loads of great venues around for food and drinks. The communal kitchen facility was well equipped, but perhaps in need of a good clean. "The Old Ship is a lovely hotel. The room was very nice and the bed comfortable. It was hot and too noisy to have the windows open but the room had a ceiling fan which was remarkably effective. The breakfast was lovely and my veggie dishes had to be ordered especially but came super quick. My only moan is that in the room we only had 4 teabags and 4 pots of milk. No herbal tea. "

"Great hotel! I was a bit skeptical about staying here at first, but I’m very pleased I chose it for my trip to Brighton. I stayed in a single suite, which was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the location is excellent—it’s not too far from the shopping center, and the beach is literally just a stone’s throw away."

"The room which I choose, given the option and price was absolutely perfect. The only thing I had an issue with was that in the shower cubicle there was body wash but no shampoo or conditioner. Would whole-heartedly stay here again."
