"We had a very pleasant stay at the B&B. Staff were very friendly and professional. The room was much larger than average, including the bathroom which had a full tub. We enjoyed a delicious authentic Indian dinner in the afternoon. The curtains blocked out 100% of the light, and we heard no sounds from either the street outside nor from in the hallways. We slept on a very comfortable bed for a full 10 hours. Full English breakfast in the morning with bangers, beans, and mushrooms. Definitely...

"The hotel was being renovated, so the reception area was moved to the back of the property and our room was on an upper floor in a part of the hotel without a lift - a challenge with luggage. That said, the staff were attentive and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. "

It was starting to look a little tired, with build up in the corners of the bathroom around the shower, and chips in the walls and paintwork of our room. The view on the top floor is lovely and made for a nice touch to visiting family where I’d originally grown up."

"Lovely grounds and excellent staff. The deluxe room was nice. It was tired, it would benfit from a fixutres and fitting refresh. We were comfortable and I wouldn't let this stop me booking again. The jacuzzi was not operational on both day and this was disappointing. I feel something could have been done to compensate for this. The pool was also a touch cold for me. I booked 2 treatments. "The hotel was clean, the room well equipped and the staff were all very friendly and efficient. The only criticism we had was the food in the restaurant, whilst very nice, was not the fine dining experience we were hoping for. The menu, which includes burgers and fish & chips, didn’t reflect the surroundings of the dining room."
