"The locations proximity to things like stumptown, Powells books etc is great and the staff is so nice. The hotel has a design flaw though and the walls are paper thin. Fortunately, they realize this and they have white noise machines in every room. They also have black out curtains. The rooms are a little bare bones but I appreciated those two things in comparison to some other Portland hotels that were higher end doing nothing for noise"

"Great location. We walked everywhere. Food, bars, transportation, pharmacy was not too far, groceries next door, walked to the Hop On Hop Off Trolley. It was not that far from the hotel. Staff was great. There was a good selection of food for breakfast. Definitely our choice of hotel for whenever we come back to Portland. Thank you."

"Nice charming older hotel with clean rooms and pleasant staff. Jada in front desk is super nice and helpful. Location can’t be beat, right in the middle of downtown. Parking is across the street and $36 is very reasonable given the hotel location. Evening wine tasting is a nice touch."
