"This hotel view a stunning view and top-notch customer service! To really shine, it would be great to add a special flair to the bar and restaurant. From what I’ve noticed, the restaurant isn’t directly part of the hotel, and the bar had a bit of trouble with credit cards. Still, I’d love to come back with my family! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the place was spotless."

"This was our first stop on a first trip to Costa Rica and it was incredible. The team working here is nothing short of incredible. They are all so nice and very helpful! Everything from the welcome drink, to the breakfast, lunch, and dinner were amazing. The animals were plentiful and such a great way to start your trip with kids on the rainforest. We took a frog tour at night and it’s a must do as well. After breakfast, we hit the waterfall trail to some of the most breath taking waterfalls...

"We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect place to relax while still being close to the airport. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. One of my favorite parts was waking up every morning to fresh coffee from the farm. "The bougainvillea has a beautiful garden, 10 acres. Great when you are traveling with children. When my nephew and niece were little they really enjoyed playing in the gardens. Now in my 50's, there is nothing more relaxing then finding a secluded bench at the back of their garden and admire the beautiful garden they've preserved in the middle of bustling City. The restaurant staff are 5 stars, esp Ivan. The food is authentic to costa rica and delicious."

"We stayed here for a night prior to flying back home. It was just what we needed - pool, restaurant, breakfast. It’s a smaller hotel, and really cute - it doesn’t have that generic hotel feel to it. My only complaint is that the beds were as hard as a board, but we were all exhausted so it didn’t matter. It could’ve been an issue if staying multiple nights though. They also offer a free shuttle to the airport and since we were leaving before breakfast, they packed us a little snack to take to...

"Selva Verda is in a beautiful location on the Sarapiqui river, slightly further off the tourist trail but a true eco-lodge. Great place to stay to immerse yourself in the Costa Rican rainforest and spot wildlife. We spotted a lot within the lodge area. I would recommend the guided nature hike which took us further into the grounds of the lodge. The guide was very knowledgeable and went at a manageable pace for our group of mixed ages. The swimming pool was good. Rooms are functional and clean...
