"I understand this was an eco lodge. However, there is no air and little cross breeze. Our bed was broken, there were not enough towels (only 3 for 5 people), we were encouraged to shower by turning the water off while we used soap, the pots and pans were so dirty that some could not be cleaned. The worst was that the staff was unprofessional. They did not communicate effectively, they were dismissive about simple requests (like "how to check in") and once we did check in we NEVER heard from...

"Perfect place to stay for a couples getaway if you’re visiting The Big Island. Staff were always able to help whenever we needed them. Being greeted by Coconut Jake every morning was the perfect way to start the day. Greeting Miss Kitty in the evening after a long day of fun and adventure was a treat as well. Rooms provide all the things you’d need when on vacation: beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, hair dryer, bathroom supplies, etc. I could go on about all the great things about this...

"I couldn’t watch the tv the first night till I pull out the plug then it worked I was in #9 my brother was in #1 his air conditioning didn’t work at all blowing hot air for 2 nights when I got in my room the first day I step on a Roach in the bathroom lucky I had a slipper on. Other then that every thing was good"

"Absolutely lovely property at the very top of a hill overlooking Hilo waterfront. The owners are very friendly and helpful if you need them. Otherwise, you never know they’re there. Perfect get away. Close to everything."

"We had the ocean view room on the second floor. It was newly renovated, with a beautiful private bathroom and beautiful wood work throughout. We were a bit spoiled when we were there, since there were no other guests on our floor during our stay. The kitchen and living room were spacious and well equipped, and Josh was always there to help us if we needed it. We would definitely stay here in the future"
