"We stayed as a family in the middle of August. We had a nice one-bedroom apartment on the first floor with everything we needed. A/C was working fine and we had access to the pool in the nearby hotel, which was nice since the beach was superbusy. Overall a good place, and we had a good time, though it was lacking some charm. "The All Suite Hotel shares facilities with the Hotel Istra. A lot depends on what you are expecting. The island does get local people use the 'beach area' but we enjoyed the quieter 'Red island' which is a short walk over the causeway. Some sunbeds are available on the flat areas of rocks although access to the sea is limited/with caution. Breakfast in the Historical Castle was a delight and evening meals could also be had there.
