"There was 1 staff at check in. It was super slow on a Saturday afternoon. The rooms are clean. The vents in the dinning room were dusty. You can see it. Obvious areas were clean, but some areas were not. The pool was nice. Pretty expensive for a pretty old hotel. The hallways were old looking. Bummed I didn’t get my fire pit patio room bc the fire pit was down. Was upgraded and compensated with free breakfast, but still. Wasn’t as exciting as I hoped."

"Interaction with Staff was fine. We paid $600/night to stay here so my review is based on that price point. It did not meet the standards of a $600/night hotel. It’s more in line with a $200/night hotel such as a motel 6. The shower did not drain well, there appeared to be mildew on the ceiling of the bathroom, there was obvious water damage on the wall behind the toilet. Carpet was frayed, walls were chipped, and paint was bubbled up in spots. The walls were paper thin so we could hear...

"Beware if you prepay in Expedia they not only put a incidental $150 hold on your card, which is expected, but also a $375 that nobody told me about nor could explain why it was “authorized “ even though the room was fully paid for. The only explanation is “oh it automatically placed when it prepaid “ ….for what? Im still not convinced it’s a hold that will come off in the week or two . Glad I don’t need that $375 anytime soon."

"Starting with check in, Jeremiah and everyone was so welcoming. The check in process was very quick and easy. The room was very clean. Bed was on the softer side, which I loved and the pillows were great not too soft not to firm. There are plenty of amenities included in the stay, wishing I got to stay just a little longer to enjoy everything the Milo has to offer. Oh yes and the guys at the valet 10/10."

"Very clean room. wonderful toiletries, great having a separate bedroom, queen and full beds. The outside patio was private and lovely with bistro chairs and a table for two, lemon trees and plants lining the fenced patio. Parking was always available. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, and many cultural activities, shops and restaurants. The staff are courteous and helpful. I would stay again!"

"The Wine Valley Inn has a great location in Solvang and it is close to everything. However the rooms were a bit outdated and the walls are super thin so you can hear everything around you. We were facing a parking lot for our stay which isn't the best. I feel the website photos make the place look more higher end then the place actually is. With that said, it is very comfortable and the staff is accomodating and they serve wine each day between 6-7pm at night and have some cozy places to sit...
