The curtains were only sheer which made it difficult to sleep in when the sun rose 5am in May. A crack in a mirror in the room was covered with stickers."

"One of a kind, unusual, and historic. Very welcoming hotel staff and fascinating, charming grounds. There are numerous things to show children-- rabbits, old cars, etc. And the breakfasts were awesome! The nearby town is nondescript but the location was good forvisiting the Hill of the Crosses, Bauska Castle, and Rundales. Would stay here again."
