The beach is not suitable for swimming due to heavy surf and a strong side current but Talpe beach a 1.5k walk or tuk-tuk away has a safe beach behind a reef. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. We initially thought we wanted to stay directly on the beach but we were so happy we didn’t. It is just about a 15 minute walk away from the beach and you get to see so much more nature/natural beauty. The views from the restaurant are incredible and unparalleled by anywhere nearby, and we loved being able to see all of the birds, monkeys(2 different species and baby monkeys as well), and lizards from the property.
