Interesting little boutique place in a convenient location. It was a little hard to find at first but they told me their "now open" sign had blown away in the wind. Staff was extremely pleasant, it was above and beyond my expectations.

It was a good hotel. I know it’s new. It’s trying to become more of an up-and-coming hotel. They just need a place to load and unload for the guest assign rooms are cleaned. The condition of the hallway needs to be improved but other than that, I think it will be a good hotel.
I needed a quiet place to isolate and get work done, and Hotel Houze turned out to be the right choice. The studio‑style mini apartment was clean and had all the amenities I needed for a productive stay. The staff was exceptionally helpful — especially Olivia, the front desk manager, whose support made a real difference.
This isn't a luxury or “fancy” spot, but if you're looking for practicality delivered in the best possible way, Hotel Houze is a reliable, economical option.
Location was amazing for being in downtown. City parking was legit across the street. But many downtown attractions all are within walking distance. The staff could not have been more courteous. They were amazing. Extremely friendly and suggested a great breakfast spot. Was there for a two night stay and the room was amazing. Would definitely recommend, if you need to be in downtown.

Great location!! The staff were amazingly welcoming!! The unit itself was freezing the windows let a lot of cold in. However it was roomy and nice otherwise
It was a good stay wasn’t aware I’d pay for parking my whole stay also they charge for someone to come tidy up the room room has no phone oh and no pets staff was great very nice room was clean walls are very thin.
We came for NYE techno shows and stayed at Houze House. It was perfect for us. Very clean, studio apartment with a full refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer and everything you needed from plates and silverware to laundry pods. Though it was perfect for those who want to eat in, it was also walking distance to coffee, restaurants, a deli and the SPKRBOX. The staff was very friendly and asked us many times if we needed anything and how our stay was going.
The Houze isn’t elaborate, but really has everything you need when out of town.
The room was absolutely beautiful. Great view. The room was cold though due to all the windows and one small heater. I asked for a blanket the first night because the bed only had a sheet on it. The girl at the desk said she would send one up but I never got it. I have never stayed in a room that didn’t at least give you a blanket.

Staff was great. Bed had no comforter and we had to go get it. Sheets stained. Biggest complaint- the noise. People slamming doors and shouting all night long. It felt like they were standing right outside our room.
Photos not updated.
Hotel is next to a high traffic liquor store with high traffic homeless / street people. Does not look safe.
Check in was easy. Must say.
The rooms are not what the photos show.
Room floors were dirty, debris.
Nice bathroom .
Windows don’t closed all the way, air and noise of the train coming in.
Heaters were not working, other rooms were having the same issue when I went to front desk to let them know.
They accommodated us in another room above the first one, and still the heater there on the 2nd room wasn’t working. We had to turn on the stove top burners and the oven to keep us warm.
Noise level even inside was loud.
NOT RECOMMENDING THIS HOTEL.
I just needed a last minute hotel for the night, and I really wanted a microwave so I could eat my meal preps I brought.
Pros: cheap, large, conveniently located, full kitchen, smart tv, and nice city views from the large windows.
Cons: My room was fairly dirty. It looked like the counter tops and surfaces hadn’t been wiped down, bathroom sink hadn’t been wiped down, and shower curtains had a weird stain. Thankfully at first glance, the bed and linens were clean. No sign of any bugs. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work, and there was no hotel phone (that I saw), so no way to contact the front desk or maintenance or anything if needed. It was FREEZING in the room. However, it was also below freezing outside and the room has very large windows, so I can imagine it would be hard to heat up that whole room. Keep that in mind and bring jackets. One of the employees “accidentally” entered my room while I was in there which was kind of scary since I’m a woman traveling alone, but I had the deadbolt on thankfully. No on site parking :( and there were also no free outlets near the bed. So, would I stay again if I needed a last minute cheap place to lay my head? Yes. Would I stay for more than one night or with kids? No. You get what you pay for here.
Room was up to date, staff was amazingly helpful. Location and parking fit our needs perfectly. We will be back.

The room was in ok condition. Lots of small problems like, the dishes weren’t put away, there was still water and coffee in the machine, the towels have bleach stains on them, etc…There was a problem with the mini split unit that was not able to be resolved during my stay. The gentleman at the front desk offered to get us a replacement room but unfortunately no other rooms were available. Also, the television did not have the Roku hdmi thing to watch tv. This took a couple hours for them to find a spare one. I had to reach out via text without replies quite a few times. Only calling them got the attention. Apparently many other people had the same problem that night.
I think the staff was very professional and were doing the best they could with what they have. The place is just cheap. Must be owned by a cheap conglomerate that is aimed at the highest profit for the lowest price. The location was nice, and overall, the layout of the room was also nice. But I can’t express enough that it just all feels so cheap.
