"weird place, art deco building, no staff after 6.30pm, not the garden cottages you see in picture. we were woken early, 6am, by truck outside loading sheets with a trolley into the back. The best thing was a really good Japanese restaurant my daughter found a short walk from the hotel whose name escapes me"

"We had a great stay staff were quick in getting back to me about parking. It is $40 a night but given the second day you can leave the car till late it worked out well for us. We used public transport and ferries to get around but due to track work on the Goldcoast train line we choose to drive. "
