"Older, updated location that is clean and reasonably priced. The checking in process was clumsy and the staff not all too helpful getting things sorted. I ended up getting a call from the front desk near midnight when for some unknown reason the front desk decided to adjust the charges made to my card. When after multiple attempts my card service “fraud froze” card they felt the need to wake me up insisting I come back down to sort it out. After getting it fixed, I repeated my request to be called by a manager to be provided with an explanation for the nonsense. Even after multiple requests and despite staying for more days at the hotel I was never contacted. Also, beware of the pet stay charges that are “clearly posted in their website” but I still haven’t been able to locate."

"Great place for a golf getaway or relaxing by the pool, hot tub or outside fire pit. Bocci ball next to bar and restaurant plus many great dining options close by. Balcony overlooking golf course was fantastic also. Staff couldn't have been any nicer. Great buffet breakfast for very reasonable price also. Will definitely be back."

"My stay at the Comfort Inn in villa park wasn't a pleasant one. 1st night there key wouldn't work for room 309. Once that was taken care of the sofa sleeper room TV didn't work called down to front desk to tell them and they said " do the one in the bedroom work" I said yes but I don't want to eat in the bedroom. And if it were a matter if reprogramming the Tv why not that. 2nd I had stepped out to meet family and bought back food for later only to find out that the microwave wasn't working. Call the front desk again and was told that no maintenance was there during the night. ( ok how about just grabbing another microwave from an empty room) The next morning I went to take a shower and the ceiling from the bathroom was leaking and the tile was about to fall through. SMDH HERE'S THE BEST OF THE WORSE PART. THE PERSON I SPOKE TO AT THE FRONT DESK WAS THE MANGER OF THE HOTEL. I WISH I WAS ABLE TO POST THE PICTURES OF THE ROOMS. AND HERE'S THE BEST PART SOMEHOW BY A MIRICAL THE NEXT DAY WHEN THE MANAGER OF WHOM I SPOKE WITH THE NIGHT BEFORE WENT TO SHOW HIM THE ROOM..... THE TV WAS WORKING AND MICROWAVE WORKING.. like im an idiot WON'T, WILL NOT EVER STAY THERE AGAIN. AND HE OFFER ME A 15% DISCOUNT. WHAT SLAP IN THE FACE. I CALLED CORPORATE ABOUT THESE CONDITIONS AND GOT A CLAIM NUMBER. EXPEDIA IM CONSIDERING DOING BUSINESS WITH SOME ONE ELSE"

"Phenomenal experience, the hotel is very family friendly with free breakfast, the gym, pool and baby cribs upon request. It’s also located in a good spot so parking isn’t expensive compared to Chicago. The value was higher than the price for sure"

"We had an amazing stay! The hotel was very clean, and the later pool hours were a huge plus. The pool being open until 11 PM worked out perfectly since our two girls were excited to swim even though we arrived later in the evening. After checking out, one of my daughters accidentally left her squishy behind in the room. I called the front desk about an hour later, and they immediately had housekeeping check for it. They were able to find it and kindly kept it at the front desk until we returned. Thankfully, we were still nearby and able to pick it up. We really appreciated how helpful and attentive the staff was throughout our short stay!"

"$75 deposit that is standard, but is typically held pending on your card and release upon check out. The day after checkout it was charged to my card. Staff was not helpful upon calling so I assume I won’t receive my money back. No elevator, had to go through back door. Dingy and outdated stairs and hallway. Staff at check in was nice and the room was decent and clean. Pool was freezing cold. Party on the first floor outside the back door we had to use, people crawling in and out of the window. Slamming doors and tv all night. Heard very clearly in room. It was okay for a night to stay. Overall no issues other than deposit and noise but wouldn’t stay again."
