"This is a very large property with access to a public beach. We thought the beach (not really a walkable beach, primarily set up for lounging) was part of the resort however we were informed this is a public beach & there were rules to follow. No saving seats, check in process (don't try coming before 8:00 am for a seat)...not our typical resort style stay, but we managed. The 3 pools fill up very quickly. The room was very clean and large. Small balcony that did offer us a beach/water view. It was also right over the parking lot so a bit loud at times. The staff was 'okay'. I don't feel like anyone went out of the way to make us feel special but all our needs were met. The property is in a great location. Very end of the southern most point of Key West and everything was safe & walkable. You can get on the trolly right by the property too which was nice. Right on Duvall and a straight shot to the other end of the island, about 1.5 miles. Plenty of coffee shops nearby but again, nothing opens before 7:00 & some are 8:00 AM. I would recommend this property for a first time Key West visitor however we would likely try something smaller on our next visit. Be prepared as it is expensive. And ask for the Rooster earplugs (free) at check in. The roosters start squawking by 5:00 AM!"

"We were scheduled to stay for 4 days but left after the first night. When we arrived, one of us got a shower, and the stall backed up with water that leaked into the bedroom. We told the front desk, and we later received a text saying that there was nothing wrong with it. We were told we couldn’t get a different room because they were sold out. The next morning we woke up to insect or rodent droppings all over the bathroom sink and the shower was still leaking. At this point, we checked out and stayed at another hotel. "

"Great location. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. We had a queen suite which had an area with a sink, microwave and fridge. They supplied some dishes, glassware and silverware. The pool area has nice seating areas. They have a coffee bar by the pool area with coffee and tea throughout the day."

"Beach was very nice to have just a few steps from the room. The seaweed was annoying at times, but the staff made great efforts to keep it cleaned up. Great views of boats and bigger boats. "

"If you like a HOT breakfast don't go there. Otherwise service was great. Hot tub was broken."

"The sunset was gorgeous. But the Caribbean Chicken was waaaay too spicy to eat. Plus we paid $20 a piece extra to get high shelf liquor in our drinks and it was watered down and not the quality of the bottle."
