"This hotel was perfect!! The neighborhood is called Santos and it is great for a more quiet ambiance, however still close to everything you would want to do in Lisbon. "I stayed here for 11 nights in August 2025 with my family, and the experience was far below the “premium” standard advertised. The shower button was non functional and kept falling off. Lighting was so dim that evenings were uncomfortable, yet Homing refused to fix it, saying the owner “doesn’t want to”. At check-in, we received an inadequate number of towels for three guests over 11 nights, and only after repeated requests did they finally bring more, something that should have been done...

"Room smells so bad, like a mold (i think it was the bed). we couldn't but heater on because the smell was going stronger and we had to sleep all our clothes on. I've had a really bad allergy and headache after being in that room, so we had to leave that room after one night. we would not have stayed there, but it was new years eve and every other place was full booked. I called the lady who showed us the room and told the problem, she was nice and polite, so i really hope they will do something...

"Had a great experience here. As a solo female traveler, it’s important to me to feel safe and in good hands at my hotel, and this was a perfect spot. The staff was warm and welcoming, and they were accommodating with my request for brief luggage storage when I had a time gap between check out and check in to my next destination. The single room I had was small, which I expected, but it absolutely got the job done and was stylish, clean, and clearly well-maintained, as was the entire property. I had the hotel’s restaurant breakfast the first day I was there only, it wasn’t anything particularly special (think eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal) but everything they did was done well. The neighborhood has a number of great walkable options to explore, eat, and drink without too many hills (relative to the rest of the city). I would certainly recommend this hotel to a friend."

"The property is gorgeous but the interior feels old and dusty. I personally had major allergies because of all of the dust and improper maintenance. Although the linens felt clean, the rug and curtains felt very dirty and dusty. I noticed mold on the roof right above my bed. I am now sick and imagine it’s from the mold and dust. The team is very welcoming and the hotel provides an honesty bar and treats for the guests, which was very nice."

"I can understand the building is a old property but it need better maintenance specially in the room we stayed the first day we slept there the room had a overwhelming smell very unpleasant the next day I brought it to the he mentioned it can be the tidewater but the rest of the building didn’t smell like that not even the corridor only our room also the AC was bad not working but they managed to fix it and give us a standing fan the smell continues also the bathroom need cleaning specifically the bathroom door the good thing is that location is very walkable and convenient to center of the city and Joao was very nice"
