"We travelled as a family of four for a three-night stay and stayed in a two-bedroom suite. The rooms were not adjoining, but shared a private entrance, which worked well for us. The kitchenette was well equipped, with an oven, ceramic cooktop, toaster, large fridge/freezer and microwave, which was really useful. The island itself is absolutely stunning. Set amongst one of the most picturesque tropical settings in North Queensland, the Lodge offers one of the best overnight stays we have experienced, Tranquil, wonderful staff, a superb continental breakfast made the stay a memorable experience. First person wasn't overly helpful as we weren't sent a code however another staff member was able to help us and give us access to our room and provide information, offer drinks, food even though it was close to kitchen closing time. "Great rooms etc, but very bad for food choices and way overpriced for food. Breakfast choice is only a buffet at 42$ per head and the spread seems to be slightly stale bread, cold perhaps one day to 2 day old pastries etc. Definitely will avoid breakfast there for sure. "

"I stayed in a room at the front of the building, on the 4th floor. I didn't need an accessible room, but that is what I got. The room size was great- it was very spacious. The bed was comfy, and the shower hot. Being on the 4th floor at the front it was noisy with truck/traffic noise overnight. The accessible bathroom meant that it was very open, with no shower cubicle. The shower next to the toilet led to a wet toilet seat after the shower. No fan in the bathroom led to a steamy room, where...
