"Wonderful place to stay and tour from"

"I and a friend were at the Yorkshire show with a trade stand and showing my Suffolk punch horses lt was very hot so it was lovely to be able to come back in the evening to some were to chill out "

"The bathroom was lovely and great toilet paper quality and towels, nice toiletries too. Nice tea tray and bed was comfy. However there was a gaping hole filled with cobwebbed pipes and the view out of the window was over bins. The room was cold but a portable heater was provided and sufficient. Dinner was great, the food was of an acceptable quality but the star of the show was the staff that served dinner. They were not intrusive, but were so helpful, a great steady pace of service. "It feel very dated around parts of the hotel and the bed was rather noisy even when making slight adjustments in my sleep. Rooms were ridiculously hot when we arrived so slept with the fan on (in February) "

"Looks fantastic however, a little bit of style over substance here. Good in the bar was ok but expensive. The room looked great but few plugs and no USB sockets. The bathroom had a shower from 1982 and a shower curtain from the same decade. Nowhere to put any toiletries and no fan in the bathroom either. Bed was comfy though and the room large enough. Car park was like something of an apocalypse with cars abandoned absolutely anywhere there was even half a space. "

"I found some nail clippings on the carpet at the side of the bed. Wall was stained with a large coffee splash. Very poor soundproofing between rooms. Rooms and bed quite small, heating didn't work so room was cold. No fridge. Breakfast was particularly poor. Watery, tasteless orange juice. Bacon tasted only of salt, sausages cheap and tasteless, stale loaf left out from one day to the next."

"The room was nice, a couple of biscuits with the tea and coffee would have been good. Also, more milk! Most staff were friendly and helpful. However, in the morning I wanted to buy a cup of coffee - not breakfast. And this seemed to present an enormous challenge! Reception staff said to just go through to the dining area but the first member of staff was flummoxed. Then the second member of staff wondered whether the coffee machine was on (!) A third member of staff took me over to the bar area...

"We loved the room, layout was great. Loved the bed, very comfortable! Shower was good as well. Only thing I would ask for is a magnifying mirror in the bathroom as I struggled to put my lenses in! Staff were lovely as well. Our new favourite in Leeds! "
