"Good location not too far from Downtown. Free parking and breakfast was a plus. Rooms were mid, and there was a funky smell coming from the AC. There was some yelling and loud talking in the hallways early in morning which made it hard to sleep. Overall it served its purpose for 2 night."

"When I first got there, I was checked in by the rudest front desk clerk who is terrible had an absolutely terrible attitude didn’t offer me bottled water. Nothing truly just a piss poor attitude and then I got to the room and the room was absolutely dirty again dirty handprints all over the bathroom. The front door to the room was so dirty. There was literally dirt dripping down the back of the door in the room. Very very disappointing. Stay."

"I had a terrible experience staying at the Red Lion in Kansas City. The hotel was dirty from the moment I walked in. The hallways had a strong unpleasant smell, and the room was not clean at all. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned before my arrival, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing and nothing like I expected. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, but this property failed in that regard. I would not recommend staying here...

"Very spacious hotel with plenty of lounges to relax in. I would recommend keeping lounge TVs on a weather station or something calming instead of a news station. I appreciated the fitness room and the ability to relax with a mixed drink in the evening. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly."

"The hotel is dated but we had a clean room, staff was friendly and a great little breakfast. Very convenient for game days, took us 15-20 minutes to walk to stadium. Would advise getting there a day prior to game days, as they get packed and will shut the streets down, so hard to get to the hotels."
