Joan was an absolute doll! She made breakfast early for us to catch a train and helped with transport. Room was spacious, clean and in the best walkable location. The garden space for breakfast is the perfect start to your stay! 10/10 going back.

This is a small bed and breakfast rather than a true four-star hotel. However, the family room which we reserved was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was simple, with a limited selection of items available. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and were available on-site from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

We had a great stay at La Fonderia. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was very good with a selection of pastries, meat, cheeses, cereal and eggs. The location is away from the chaos of the city center but it is a 20-25 minute walk to the major sites so just be aware. We stayed in the Bronze room which was perfect with our 2 kids. I would not recommend this room for very young children though as the stairs up to the loft are steep and I would worry about a young child falling but our 4 and 8 year old children were fine going up and down. Overall a great stay in a more authentic neighbourhood right on the river.

The room (family room with loft) was updated and very well kept, as was the overall property. Breakfast area and garden were perfect for rest after a day of exploring. Food was plentiful and excellent. Joan, one of the operators, was a joy to be around. Great option for couples and families.

This was one of the best places that we’ve stayed in our travels! So clean, friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast buffet, and incredible location! They have a gated parking area for a reasonable price! Tina prepared our wonderful breakfast and she was so warm and welcoming! I will definitely be back!!

The hotel was lovely and so convenient for walking into the centre of Florence. The WiFi was great and the gardens were gorgeous. The housekeeping/breakfast staff were wonderful and so kind.

Staff was lovely and very helpful. Bathroom nicely renovated. Unfortunately I had to leave before breakfast but it seemed to be a nice selection. The only thing I didn’t like was it was a very small attic room with a very low ceiling. Nice automatic blinds installed. Felt like a fire trap - up a small spiral staircase to get to top. Clean though.

Huge room!

This B&B was darling! Huge patio and room for a family! Great water pressure in the shower and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t eat breakfast as we had an early flight but we would definitely recommend this place!

Lovely B&B in Florence

This is a great place to stay to explore Florence. Clean, quiet, and just a 15 minute walk from the centre. Special mention to Joan who put on a great breakfast every morning to set you up for the day. Highly recommend.

The single room is in the attic upstairs, small but clean and sufficient. The bathroom is private for the guest, located just outside the room, and is clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly. The location is a bit far from the city center, but not excessively. Highly recommended.
