"This is a tricky review to write as some things about Sweetfield Manor were very good but others were not. Firstly, the place advertises itself as a 5 star boutique hotel, boutique is correct, 5 star definitely not. The room itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with an excellent shower room. "This hotel is fairly new and we have a nice boardwalk by the beach for morning and evening stroll. The main pool is very nice and our kids love swimming in it. Our room is very quiet and you can barely hear waves from the beach. "

There was confusion over where to eat on the property. we went to eat at the beach restaurant and it was closing so they sent us to the restaurant in the building where we could only get a buffet. there was only 1 elevator and it was not working part of the day and we were on the 4th floor. Very confusing layout of rooms as there are different levels and staircasses to access the rooms. Nice beach area. "
