"Parking was great was moving so it was a quick overnight .but the pool was relaxing it was a tuesday night not super busy great after a day of loading a truck and needing to be on the road early early"
"Hotel is beautiful and clean. We booked a spacious corner room with 2 queen beds for 2 adults, a teenager & pre-teen. We requested a roll away bed as well. Upon arriving we were told the room we booked was not available and that they would put us in a regular room with a king bed and pull out sofa bed. The concierge said that since we booked through a third party site our room was not guaranteed and that often these sites book rooms they don’t even have. With no options we took the room (we had just driven 9 hours) and requested the roll away bed. They said they hoped one was available, thankfully it was. We spent 2 nights in a small room with our daughters bed in front of the door to the room as there was no place else to put it. Cramped doesn't even describe it.
Additionally, there was never anyone at the front desk, you had to just stand there and wait for them to come out from the back area. We experienced this when needed sheets and pillows for the pull out sofa and additional towels since the room was only stocked for 3 people as well as when we checked out.
With regards to amenities we didn’t use them but noticed that their on site restaurant is only open Monday through Friday, looks like the bar portion was open though.
No cookies, seems silly but Doubletree is known for this and we have always been excitedly provided them by the concierge when staying at other Doubletree locations. I don’t care about the cookies I think this just speaks to this locations vibe. "
"Sam was warm and very helpful! Housekeeping was friendly and generous. Pool was great for my son, breakfast omelets and sausage were a delicious surprise. Room was new and clean."

"Very quaint hotel with a fascinating history dating back to 1843. Sabrina, the manager/owner was cordial and gracious in every way. She could not have been more helpful in getting us settled in. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone. Beautiful setting on the lake.."
"The beds sheets where clean but that bathroom is small was disgusting. and the ahowee faucet was dripping water. They need to update that whole hotel."
