"It is one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. Excellent room, staff, services. The hotel and the rooms are in traditional Zanzibar architecture style, which gave me great experience. "This was a neat place to stay in the heart of the old part of Stone Town. Quaint, but with modern amenities like AC. I had a private bathroom down the hall which was clean and not far. Older building with stairs but I enjoyed my stay and felt it was worth it for sure."

"An absolute gem of a hotel! The building is absolutely beautiful and feels like it has been there forever, even in the new parts. The room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. They filter their water so you can use the taps no problem to brush teeth but they provide lots of bottled water as well.
